Way of the Cross at “Calvary Hill” Lochinvar
In its recent trip around the Diocese of Maitland/Newcastle, the World Youth Day Cross and Icon made a brief stop-over in the grounds of the Lochinvar Convent where young people from the area carried them around the grounds for outdoor Stations of the Cross.
This was an opportunity for the young and not-so-young of the Convent and Lochinvar area, to reverence the Cross and pray for the youth of the world - a cause most dear to the hearts of the Sisters.
